How We Provide Excellent Care
Evaluate the injury and the urgency of treating it

Question the patient and learn how the injury occurred, obtain the health history of the patient and any additional information needed

Treat according to the nature and severity of the injury, including prescribing medication if needed.

Educate the patient on how to return to work with light, limited or full duties and prevent future injuries. We provide work statues with each visit and fax the report to the appropriate location.

Communication is encouraged during the treatment process not only with the patient but also with the employer and healthcare representatives. Questions are always encouraged. EIO will make information concerning treatment available to only appropriate requesters. We will also provide injured workers with work restrictions for limited or modified duties that are available through their employers.

How You Benefit from Injury Care
Assurance of Care: You can be certain that all patients receive quality medical care. Our focus is on both treating injuries and returning patients toward normal functioning. The earlier treatment begins, the quicker the recovery.

Communication/education: The first experience with our physicians and staff motivates patients and creates a positive approach that shortens rehabilitation time. We help patients understand the injury and methods to prevent re-injuring themselves.

Patient-responsibility: We clearly communicate and emphasize the patient’s responsibility in the treatment and recovery process, which leads to a more successful result.

Better result for all: Early mobilization, physical/occupational therapy, and return to work activity, produces a better outcome for the patient and also the employer.

Lower expenditure: Our experience and quality health care leads to lower compensation, medical costs, and decreased time lost at work. Employee productivity is a goal that we strive for.

Recovery is our top priority whether it is due to repetitive motion or a potentially devastating on-the-job accident. Through careful monitoring, proper treatment, physical restrictions and anticipated goals we are committed to returning the employee rapidly back to work and focus on remaining productive and healthy, until the injured worker returns to full time duties.

Time away from work due to an injury can be very difficult and sometimes potentially devastating for both employee and employer. We are able to accommodate and provide medical treatment plans and return to work programs while monitoring patient care. To avoid future injuries for employees, we strongly encourage a walk-through of your facility to offer advice on how repetitive motion and other musculoskeletal injuries can be prevented, and to have a visual understanding of how and why the injury occurred.
