Dr. Baird is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement, trauma, hand surgery, sports medicine, and general orthopaedics. After graduating from Crawfordsville High School right here in Indiana, Dr. Baird studied Biology at DePauw University graduating with honors in 1985.

Dr. Baird then graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, located in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1989. Following graduation Dr. Baird completed a specialized five-year orthopaedic surgery residency at the Indiana University Medical Center Program.

Dr. Baird is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has maintained recertification according to the highest standards set by the American Board.

Dr. Baird moved to Wayne County in 1994. He has two children and lives on a small farm on the outside of Richmond. Dr. Baird has traveled extensively but calls Wayne County home.

Dr. Baird is one of the Orthopaedic Surgeons of Eastern Indiana Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is also a founding member of Tower Specialty Surgery. Dr. Baird has provided extensive amounts of orthopaedic surgical care at Reid Hospital.
